TRANSFORMATION STATION

How might we leverage unrealized space in small transport hubs, as catalysts for communities and places to thrive? Rethinking the role that transport hubs play beyond providing transit services by suggesting a new use for these spaces. The proposal focuses on an existing small-scale station, particularly in peri-urban or rural locations. The project goes beyond a single-use solution in the station, towards developing a sustainable model and system where station managers and operators work with the local community in the longer term, to shape, deliver and change interventions in a space needed. The proposal is using the provided module unit as the base of the design.
